Pickled Pig – a pulled pork haven that celebrated the marriage of pork and pickles with unapologetic confidence. Pickled Pig envisioned itself as more than just a dining destination; it aimed to be an experience that patrons would remember. The brief emphasized a desire for a brand identity that exuded a tongue-in-cheek playfulness, while also communicating the restaurant's confidence in its distinctive pulled pork offerings.

 

Pickled Pig believed it could offer the UK more than just another typical barbecue restaurant, so we positioned the brand identity in the high-end food outlet category.

THE CONCEPT

Pickled Pig's distinctive logo was born from the restaurant's bold vision of marrying the flavors of pork and pickles. The logo features a charming pig mascot, its character infused with a playful demeanor, transformed into a traditional dill pickle to symbolize the unique culinary fusion. With a mischievous wink in its eye, the pig proudly holds a food flag with the letters 'PP" in its curly tail, akin to those found gracing the burgers served at Pickled Pig's smokehouse.

 

This quirky touch not only reinforces the restaurant's identity but also serves as a playful nod to the delightful culinary adventure that awaits their customers, as they savor the flavorful union of pulled pork and pickles at this one-of-a-kind dining destination.
